During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have caused blackouts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while local people in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and faced problems to water systems, per reports from municipal leaders.

At the same time, a seven-year-old child was fatally injured in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to regional authorities.

Russian forces has escalated strikes on electrical systems over the past few days, while the country's government has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but firm measures - from the America, the EU and the G7 - in supplying defensive weapons and applying restrictions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 projectiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and repair crews were laboring to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles damaged energy infrastructure and apartment buildings in Kyiv.

Several of the people wounded in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.
